Not my translation, this is a really old thing I had around “my memory” in nico:
‘My memory’ basically works as a “My list” but instead of just adding the video to a playlist, it saves the comments that were posted during the time you add it to my memory (I remember you can had only 50 videos on my memory but I’m not sure by this time)
Anyway, you can also edit the comments, and so, I used to use ‘my memory’ whenever I found videos with english translations on them and I wanted to try out if they could be embed on blogs with just the translation and it stays like that, so, I guess this works as “secure fansubbing” xD; a lot of people has been suspended on youtube because they have been reprinting vocaloid videos/songs/etc over there, this kind of method might make things easier… if you wouldn’t get the author’s permission or they can’t be reprinted of course
Mainly tried this for Nicori, since mayuko (one of the author’s she likes the most) doesn’t like his/her works to be reprinted, I hope this can be from some use to someone （`・ω・´）, here goes another one:
